What is the Streamlivr Creators Fund?

The Streamlivr Creators Fund is an empowerment programme that gives emerging creators access to funding, education, tools, community and opportunities. It exists because audience doesn't automatically become income — the Fund closes that gap by combining financial support with practical development and access to the Streamlivr creator ecosystem.

In one line: The Streamlivr Creators Fund funds, develops and connects emerging creators through direct support, education, campaigns, events and access to the Streamlivr ecosystem.

What it isn't: It's not a giveaway — support is tied to participation and outcomes. It's not only for influencers — musicians, filmmakers, podcasters, streamers, designers, comedians, educators, writers, visual artists, gamers and creator-led entrepreneurs are all eligible categories. And it's not a token programme — see How creators get paid below.

Who can apply

Creators with 1,000 to 100,000 real followers across any platform — you don't need to already be big. We're especially interested in creators with a clear point of view, consistency, and community connection, not just follower count.

Eligible categories: Music, Video, Livestreaming, Comedy, Gaming, Education, Fashion, Beauty, Film, Podcasting, Writing, Visual Arts, Food, Sports, Tech, and more.

Talent agencies and creator collectives can also apply on behalf of a roster — see the agency application path.

Support tiers

Tier
Followers
What it's designed for

Emerging

1,000–10,000

Creators building consistency and a clear point of view

Growing

10,001–50,000

Creators with real traction ready to scale their audience

Established

50,001–100,000

Creators ready to headline showcases and mentor others

Your tier affects what proof we ask for in the application and the scale of support you're considered for — it does not by itself decide whether you're selected.

How it works

  1. Apply — Tell us about your work, your audience, and what support would unlock for you.

  2. Get selected — Reviewed on creative quality, growth potential, community connection and feasibility — not just follower count.

  3. Get supported — Funding, training, mentorship, and access to campaigns.

  4. Grow and showcase — Build your portfolio, get paid, and share your work at Streamersfest and other Fund events.

Applying doesn't guarantee funding — selection is competitive and depends on the specific cohort.

How creators get paid

Core payments to creators are made in stablecoins. The Fund also uses LIVR, the Streamlivr ecosystem's utility token, for bonus rewards and pro-subscription access within the platform. LIVR is a perk layered on top of your payment — never a replacement for it, and never the basis on which the Fund itself is financed. The Creators Fund is financed by philanthropic, CSR and development partners, not by token sales.

For funders and partners

Partner with the Streamlivr Creators Fund to sponsor a cohort, a creator campaign, an education track, or an event series (including Streamersfest). Partners receive structured reporting on reach, creator participation, and outcomes.

Ways to get involved: Fund a Cohort · Sponsor a Campaign · Support a Creator Programme · Partner on Events

For a detailed proposal, budget structure, or impact-reporting framework, reach out via the partnership contact — these are shared directly with prospective partners rather than published publicly.

For talent agencies

Agencies, managers and collectives can apply on behalf of a roster. You'll be asked for: agency name and registration details, lead contact, number of represented creators, roster link, categories and regions covered, previous campaigns, safeguarding/rights procedures, and proposed use of funds. Each represented creator must individually consent to participate.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a large audience? No. We're especially interested in creators with a clear point of view, promising work, authentic community connection, and the potential to grow.

What can the Fund pay for? Depending on the programme: creator fees, campaigns, content production, education, tools, events, showcases, mentorship and other agreed support.

Is funding guaranteed after I apply? No. Applications are competitive and support depends on the specific programme budget and eligibility requirements.

Can talent agencies apply? Yes, where a call permits agency/collective submissions.

Can creators outside Nigeria apply? The Fund can operate across multiple markets. Each programme publishes its eligible countries.

How are creators selected? Using a transparent framework covering creative quality, growth potential, community connection, use of support, access gap, feasibility, cultural value, and professional readiness.

Is this a token fund? No. Core payments are stablecoin-based. LIVR is used for in-platform bonus rewards and subscription perks, not as the Fund's financing mechanism.

What is Streamlivr's role? Streamlivr provides the platform and ecosystem creators participate in. The Creators Fund is the dedicated, partner-funded empowerment programme that sits on top of it.
